Curriculum

Homework

Homework in first grade consists of fifteen minutes four times a week that could consist of reading, math, spelling, and recitations from the Lord’s Word.

 

Class Parent

We have a class parent who will be reaching out to you to help with field trips, first grade play or providing snacks for special occasions, etc.

 

1st Grade Play

The first grade performs a play alternating between a tale from Beatrix Potter and a story from Winnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne.

 

Field Trips

In first grade we could go on field trips to Glencairn Museum, Bryn Athyn Cathedral and Briar Bush Nature Center.
