Teachers Visiting Fellow Teachers

The teachers at BACS are spending some time this year getting into each other’s classrooms. This is a great opportunity for them to see some other ways of teaching, to experience other areas of our K-8 curriculum and possibly to observe their students in arenas other than their own. It also provides teachers with the opportunity to see first-hand what their fellow teachers do so well. We spent some time at last week’s faculty meeting debriefing some of these classroom visits and it was nice to hear the positive feedback that the teachers had to say about the classrooms they visited. Getting into classrooms is one of my favorite parts of my job. I was lucky enough to watch ten different teachers teach this past week. Seeing first-hand how our teachers are meeting and leading our students is inspiring. We are fortunate to have such a great staff.
