Next year, two of our homeroom teachers will be teaching in different grade levels. Chris DeMaria will be moving from first grade to second grade and Beth Adams will be moving from second grade to fifth grade. Both second and fifth grades will have two homeroom teachers new to that grade level next year. The fact that they will each have a veteran BACS teacher as part of that team will be a notable advantage. This week we learned that our school counselor, Olivia Brock, will not be returning next year. Olivia has quickly become a very valuable member of our team, and we are sad to see her go.

We are now beginning a search to fill four positions: a part-time school counselor, and fulltime homeroom teachers in first, second and fifth grades.
