Science Curriculum Work

Nine teachers from BACS participated in science curriculum meetings last week. These meetings, put on by General Church Education, were a continuation of work from the past two years. On the first day a representative from the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit demonstrated phenomena based science lessons to our teachers, as well as fourteen other teachers from other General Church schools, ANC, and the Bryn Athyn College ed department. The teachers then spent the subsequent day creating New Church lessons for their grade levels following this new format which is championed by the Next Generation Science Standards.
