School Closing
BACS officially closed our 121st academic year last Friday morning with our graduation ceremony. The students in all of our grade levels have grown this year, benefitting from the challenges and the support given to them from their teachers. It is now time for the kids to go on a well-deserved summer vacation. I hope it is a time for them to experience their world through the freedom that is unique to the summer of childhood. Thirty-seven eighth graders received their diplomas last Friday. We will miss these students and wish them all the best as they continue on their educational journeys and find their uses in life. Sixteen families had their last child graduate from BACS this year. It is always strange when families are suddenly not connected to our school in a day-to-day way any longer. We hope that we can continue to find ways to connect with them in the years to come.
