Parent Teacher Conferences

We held our annual parent-teacher conferences last week. These conferences are an invaluable piece of our school year. Parents and teachers can often see different sides of a child’s life; by sharing these views the child stands to be better served both at home and at school.  The conferences can be a time for plans to take shape which will better meet the needs of the individual child.  It can also be a time for the student’s strengths to be affirmed. This year it was especially nice to have the parents and teachers meet in person, something which couldn’t happen last year. I enjoyed the view from my desk as I watched parents coming and going through the halls. It is reminder of the partnership we are building in order to provide the students with the best possible New Church education.
