Material Drop Off and Pick Up

We are currently still in a period of remote learning at BACS. One advantage we have this fall over last spring is that even while remote we are able to provide our students with non-digital materials each week. We had our first weekly pick up and drop off event last Monday. Families drove up to Heilman Hall and received a packet of materials from their child’s teacher. It might have been books, papers or supplies for a project. Families may also drop off completed items from the previous week. This system is allowing us to have the students do more than exclusively work on the computer or tablet, something we think is important especially during these months of remote learning. I hadn’t realized just how much I missed seeing collages of cut-out pictures until I was collecting them on Monday night.
