Lafayette Was Here
BACS was treated to a visit from the Marquis de Lafayette interpreter from Colonial Williamsburg. He gave two educational and very engaging presentations to our students on Wednesday morning. His talent as an actor made the information about our country’s history seem to come to life before our eyes. It was no wonder that more than one younger student had to ask how Lafayette was still alive 200 years later. After his two presentations the interpreter shared with the administration how impressed he was with our students, their behavior, their attention, their thoughtful questions and their background knowledge of the history. We were fortunate to have had such a quality program at our school and are proud of our students for making such a good impression.
