Hosting Education Students

Last Tuesday fifteen education students from Bryn Athyn College visited our classrooms. These students, who are currently in the introduction to education course taught by Angela Rose, spent the morning observing our school, each in a different classroom. BACS has a long standing relationship with the education department at Bryn Athyn College. Each year there are students observing and practicing teaching in our classrooms. This year, in addition to this recent visit day, we have had three third year students doing their field experience with us. These students work with a class all day twice a week and our students have become quite attached to them. The work that Bryn Athyn College does to train future educators to be New Church Teachers is unique and invaluable. We are pleased to be able to support their program.
