Field Day

After a two-year absence we were excited to hold our traditional Field Day again last Friday. During this event, which was once called May Day Play Day, 18 teams, each with students from kindergarten to 8th grade, compete in nine activities on our athletics fields. The activities include such things as an egg n spoon race, a soccer relay, a bucket brigade, a water balloon toss and a tug of war. To me the best part of the day is watching the older students helping their younger teammates. Field day is a great event to have as we wrap up the school year as it brings the whole school together for a fun morning of encouragement and activity. We are grateful to the PE teachers for all of their work putting it on.
