Faculty Study on Remains

The BACS students had Friday morning off as we held our annual faculty study. This is a chance for the teachers and staff to step away from the day-to-day routine and study a larger, doctrinally relevant topic. This year Solomon Keal led us through a study of the teachings on remains. The doctrine of remains is perhaps one of the most foundational teachings to New Church education. Through presentations, small group conversations, and a panel discussion we examined how we can best help the Lord as He implants remains in our students. Meetings such as these can both reaffirm our current practices and inspire new ideas. We hope the students enjoyed their break.
