Book Fair

This is the week of our annual Scholastic Book Fair. The fair is an opportunity for the school to raise money for the library but more importantly it is a way to celebrate books. Each class visited the fair on Monday morning and it was fun to watch the students, old and young, pouring over the books on display. Countless studies have shown the benefits of connecting students with books. Our language arts and credit reading curriculums as well as our day-to-day library program build up these connections. The special events that the library puts on like the summer reading program and the book fair make these connections even stronger. Thank you to all of our book fair volunteers and customers. We appreciate your support for this important event.
