BACS Workday a Success
Saturday April 25th was the spring work day at BACS. Scott Nash led 90 workers through a very productive day. Thanks to crew leaders Rueben Mergen, Chrissy Fink, Lucas Mergen, Glen Henderson and Bob Hern, countless projects were completed. Parents, grandparents, teachers, students, former students, future students and community members worked side by side to get the list done while LynnEllen King kept them well fed. More than one person mentioned that their favorite part of the work day was the sense of community that was created by working together. Others talked about how nice it was to support the school in such a hands-on way. We are truly thankful for their support. Without their work which included painting, cleaning, roof repair, mulch spreading, electrical work, tree work and structural repairs, many of these tasks would have either gone undone or cost us a significant amount of money. We are certainly in better shape this week than we were last Friday, thanks to this team of volunteers. This event was yet another example of how well cared for we are.
Thank you.
