8th Grade Boys Teacher

I am excited to announce that Tony Griffin will be joining our faculty next year as the 8th grade boys’ teacher. Tony is a graduate from BACS, the Academy of the New Church Secondary Schools, and the Bryn Athyn College. After completing college, Tony was a fulltime high school teacher at ANC where he also served as a coach, head camp counselor and tutor. Recently Tony has been living in Colorado managing his own business and teaching middle-school history. He is excited to return to Bryn Athyn and to join us here at BACS where he will be able to not only teach the subject matter but also lead his students through their moral and spiritual development. Tony’s charisma and experience, as well as his appreciation for the learning and his understanding of the adolescent state will, no doubt, set him up for a strong career here.

We were taken aback by the number and the quality of applicants that came forward for this opening. It is not an easy thing to put yourself forward in this kind of process and I am grateful that so many talented men did so.
