New Faces
We are excited to be welcoming six new teachers to our faculty next year.
Megan Asplundh Pendergrass is joining our Student Support Center. Megan is not only a reading specialist but also brings with her years of experience as a classroom teacher, including years at BACS.
Jessica Johns will be teaching our enrichment program next year. Before moving to Bryn Athyn, Jessica previously taught English to grades 6-11 in Texas and Pennsylvania, including gifted programs for 8th and 9th graders.
Bri Kern will be our new school counselor. Bri will be combining an elementary education degree, a master’s degree in counseling and previous experience working at BACS.
Nadine Martz will be the new teacher’s assistant working with the 3rd grade. Nadine was a classroom teacher for the General Church for six years, including at the 3rd grade level, and has been volunteering at BACS for several years.
Monica Sanchez will be taking over our Spanish program. Monica is excited to share her knowledge of the language and Latin American culture with her students.
Kaylee King will be running our after school sports and ACE programs. Kaylee is excited to bring her organizational and interpersonal skills to our program. We are glad to have her join our staff and look forward to working with her.
We are thrilled that we are able to be adding such strong educators to our school.
