BACS Book Fair

BACS held our annual Scholastic Book Fair this past weekend. After holding it virtually last year, it was so nice to have it in person once again. When the doors opened on Friday evening, we were greeted by a crowd of excited shoppers. The fair is more than a fundraiser for the library; it is also a celebration of books and of reading. I always enjoy watching students, either during school or when they have returned with their families, eagerly moving from one table to the text, flipping through pages and getting excited about books. This weekend I saw several kids tucked away in corners reading their new books before they had even left the building. Thanks to all of you who came to the fair this year and made this a successful event.
