Building Plan Approved by Society
On October 13th, 2021 the members of the Bryn Athyn Society voted 320-19 to move forward with plans for a new building to be constructed on our campus. This building will serve as a new home for the uses currently housed in the school and the Society Building. These include the Bryn Athyn Church School; the Bryn Athyn Church Preschool; the Bryn Athyn Church offices; and event space for the informal church service, wedding receptions, memorial gathering and other events. The new building which is designed by Metcalfe Architecture and Design will be located on the east side of the existing parking lot. This location will allow construction to proceed with minimal disruption to the current school or society spaces. Once the new building is completed many of the current facilities will be removed and a replacement athletic field will be created in its location.
