Teacher Appreciation

Tuesday, May 4th is Teacher Appreciation Day, and I would like to use the occasion as an opportunity to publically acknowledge everything that the teachers have done over the past year. These past four terms have seen teachers reinvent their programs several times over. They have taught themselves countless new skills in order to give their students a better experience in these difficult times. They have challenged themselves and stretched themselves to their limits all for the sake of their students. Teachers do special work every year, and it is fitting that we set time aside to appreciate them annually. This year, however, they seem even more deserving of acknowledgement so please join me in thanking them.
