New Playground
There is a new playground on our campus! Monday, January 25th marked the official opening of the new wooden playground outside the Society Building. The play structure that had been in that location for nearly forty years had begun to show wear, and after all those years and there was growing concern for its structural integrity. The new playground, which was a gift to the school and society from the Asplundh Foundation, is made of white cedar and has slides, platforms, chin-up bars, benches and tables. It is hoped that the design and style of the new structure will allow it to serve all the groups who enjoyed its predecessor including families, the preschool, and our intermediate students at lunch time.
