Prayer in Morning Worship
Our theme this year at Bryn Athyn Church School is The Way We Worship. Our guiding quote from scripture is from Psalm 46: Be still and know that I am God.
For the first part of the year we are looking specifically at PRAYER: But as for me, my prayer is to You, O Lord” Psalm 69:13
In morning worships led by a minister in the school auditorium we are learning much about prayers and praying. One Friday in September, the teachers and the students offered group prayers during worship. First the adults prayed together followed by student groups offering words from Scripture adapted as prayers. All could participate because the prayers were projected on a screen

O Lord You are gracious and full of compassion,
Slow to anger and great in mercy.
You are good to all,
And Your tender mercies are over all Your works (adapted from Psalm 145).
