Departing Staff Member
Sadly, BACS has accepted the news from Phil Feerrar that he plans for this to be his final year teaching 8th grade. Dr. Feerrar has been an incredible asset to BACS in the three years he has been here. His charisma and enthusiasm make him a widely popular teacher with both the students and the parents. His understanding of the subject matter and his skill in delivering it to his class have given his students an education that will benefit them for many years to come. Phil brought with him 22 years of experience teaching at the high school level. This vision of where the students are headed has been an invaluable benefit. While Dr. Feerrar’s teaching will be missed, we are sure that the contributions he has made to our curriculum such as the units on our local men and women’s experiences during WWI and WWII will continue to strengthen our program.
