The Seventh Grade Carnival

The annual Seventh Grade Carnival was held last Friday. This is a popular event for our students to attend each year. They can play games and win prizes all in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. It is also a very successful fund raiser for the seventh grade as it pays for a huge portion of their trip to Gettysburg. This year’s carnival raised over $1,700. The carnival is also a turning point in the seventh graders’ lives. It wasn’t long ago that they were the younger students being guided through the games but now they are on the other side, running the booths and organizing the event. Thank you to everyone who made this event a success.

BACS Picnic (and Charity Fundraiser)

The Bryn Athyn Church School will be having their annual picnic on Friday, September 27th from 5:00-7:30pm at the BACS athletic fields. This traditional gathering has proven to be a nice opportunity to connect with old friends, meet new friends, and welcome new families to our school.

As was the case last time, in addition to bringing your own picnic dinner you also have the option of purchasing hot dogs through our charity fundraiser. The funds we raise from these sales will be given to hurricane relief efforts in the Bahamas.

We look forward to seeing you at this relaxed, fun-filled evening. All are welcome.
