Streaming Chapel Live

Even though school is being delivered remotely, chapel is still happening live first thing in the morning. Last spring our ministers shared recordings from their homes in place of chapel. This fall our services are streaming live from Heilman Hall. There is something reassuring in seeing the minister in front of the traditional curtains and the Word opened on our traditional altar. There is also a strength in the fact that chapel is live, that the school, while scattered around our neighborhoods, is all worshipping together at the same time. We hope to have school in our building again soon, but even then chapel will continue to be streamed so that the students can worship in their homerooms rather than assembling in one large group in Heilman Hall. We are fortunate to have a team of staff members who have worked hard to present us with such a strong start to our day.
