School Assembly

On Friday we were lucky enough to have a school assembly put on by Mr. Joe from the Franklin Institute. Mr. Joe taught us about space travel. He highlighted the anniversary of Apollo 11’s historic flight and invited the students to dream about what they might experience in their future. The students learned about gravity, thrust, the appearance of weightlessness, stable orbits, and air pressure all while being entertained by a skilled presenter. We are able to have these kinds of assemblies thanks to your donations to the Educational Enhancement Fund. Thank you for the experience you gave our students this week. We are looking forward to our next assembly in the spring.
