Remote School During Snow

More snow fell on BACS this past week making it unsafe to have students and staff on campus. Rather than miss two more days of academic momentum we converted those days to online learning. Doing this also allowed us to avoid cancelling spring holidays like Easter Monday, a traditional solution when there are too many snow days. There is something special about a snow day and we want to preserve that for our students, however it is possible that our new experience online could be useful when the amount of these days becomes problematic. Perhaps this is a silver lining from 2020.
