Onsite School at BACS

BACS continues to hold school onsite, and it is so nice to have students in the building. I have found that the times we spent online over the past year have given me a new appreciation for the little things that happen on a typical day of school. This past week for instance, I had the chance to try to guess what countries some sixth graders are studying for their country papers, a group of second graders showed me the fastest technique when using a sliding board, a fourth grader and I shared an appreciation for the quality of his snack, and a seventh grade boy made me laugh as only a seventh grade boy can. None of these things were part of a class or were planned. They are just the sorts of things that happen over the course of my days at school when the students are here, and, while I always enjoyed the little things, they are things I appreciate even more now.
