InService Day
Our students were able to sleep in on the morning after Halloween this year because the faculty had our annual InService Day on Friday, November 1st. The topic this year was anxiety in young people, and we were fortunate to have Kiri Rogers as our presenter. Her presentation covered the current research on the topic as well as practical strategies for teachers to support students struggling with anxiety. Our InService Day is one of several professional development events which happen every year. They are important opportunities for us to further develop and strengthen our program.
