Field Day

Friday was Field Day at BACS. Field Day is a chance for us to step out of our classrooms for a couple of hours and play together as a school. The students are placed into eighteen teams, each made up of members who range from kindergarteners to eighth graders. The teams travel through nine stations competing against other teams in events like water balloon toss, egg and spoon relay, and tug of war. To me the best part of the day is watching the older students helping their younger teammates. Field day is a great event to have as we wrap up the school year, bringing the whole school together for a fun morning of encouragement and activity. We are grateful to the PE teachers and the volunteers who put on this event each year.
