Closure – Week 4

This past week was one of transition for many of our grade levels as the teachers, students, and parents got up and running on one of two online platforms–SeeSaw for grades K-4 and Google Classroom for grades 5-8. While there is a steep learning curve for everyone involved, these platforms seem to be greatly enhancing our ability to share schoolwork back and forth. Returns from the students include videos of some of our youngest students reading for their teacher, some our oldest students completing collaborative research assignments and lots of other creative types of student work. This week our school pastor, Rev. Solomon Keal, also began posting videos from his home to serve as our morning chapels. These are posted on our website at https://brynathynchurchschool.org/home-learning/chapel/ and have been enjoyed by our students’ families as well as others in the community. You may appreciate them as well.
