Charter Day and Conferences

The Bryn Athyn Church School was closed on Friday in recognition of Charter Day, a celebration of New Church education. One of the core principals of New Church education is the relationship between the school and the student’s home. This past week was also the week of afternoons set aside for parent-teacher conferences. These conferences are a time for the teachers and parents to sit down and discuss individual students, for them to share their different perspectives and to build a working relationship with each other. I enjoyed seeing so many parents in the building this week. It’s a reminder of how much we are working together.
